Hayfork won the last time they faced Burney, and Levi Cavalli did his part to make sure it happened again. The Timberjacks took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 44-6 victory over the Raiders thanks in part to Cavalli, who rushed for 231 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 13th straight game with at least 117 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Hayfork's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Burney, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
