Basketball Recap: Wilmot Sets Scoring Season-High Against Lower Brule

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wilmot). They blew past the Lower Brule Sioux 80-48 on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Wilmot and bumps their season record up to 6-8. As for Lower Brule, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Wilmot will venture away from home to face off against Great Plains Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilmot has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Lower Brule, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Crow Creek at 4:00 p.m. on February 4th.
