Volleyball Recap: Northview's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Northview waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Washtenaw Christian Academy. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in April.

Northview easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-11.

Johnny Krolak was the offensive standout of the contest as he had 13 digs and three aces.

Krolak wasn't the only good server: Northview was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. Northview is a perfect 11-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Northview's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-9. As for Washtenaw Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northview will square off against rival HEA Firebirds HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Washtenaw Christian Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Start at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
