Baseball Game Preview: Evansville Blue Devils vs. Big Foot Chiefs

For the second straight game, Evansville will face off against Big Foot. The Blue Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chiefs at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.

Evansville had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Big Foot on Tuesday. The Blue Devils blew past the Chiefs 13-6. The Blue Devils not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 29, 2025 (when they won 8-1).

For Big Foot's part, River Jedlicka was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Quincy Torrez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Evansville's victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. As for Big Foot, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
