 The Alleghany Trojans will head out on the road to  square off against  the North Stokes Vikings at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Alleghany is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a 20-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
 Last Tuesday, Alleghany was the victim of a  tough 55-31 loss at the hands of Starmount. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Alleghany in their matchups with Starmount: they've now lost seven in a row.
 Alleghany's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Sarah Bare, who  scored 12 points along with seven  rebounds, and  Ellie Crouse who  scored seven points along with four  steals.
 Alleghany was without their leading scorer,  Elizabeth Collins, in Tuesday's   matchup. With  Collins sidelined, Alleghany had to make some big changes to the lineup. Three players got more time on the court than they're used to:  Layla Turner (13),  Lillian Carrillo (28), and  Crouse (17). The trio had averaged 5.35, 14.23, and 8.15 minutes respectively before Tuesday's   contest. Crouse made the most of the opportunity,  scoring seven points along with four  steals. A few more games like that and  she might be seeing even more time going forward.
 Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, North Stokes beat South Stokes 46-42 on Tuesday.
 Alleghany's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21. As for North Stokes, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 13 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record  this season.
 Alleghany ended up a good deal behind  North Stokes in their previous matchup  on February 2nd, losing  42-25. Can Alleghany avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
