The Sundance Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Shoshoni Wranglers at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Sundance will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
If Sundance beats Shoshoni with 57 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Sundance simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Hulett 57-8. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 31 points or more this season.

Sundance's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jaylin Mills, who went 6 of 10 en route to 15 points, and Jude Crago, who posted 11 points and five steals. Mills' evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of MacKenna Olson, who had seven points.
While Shoshoni didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They snuck past Riverside with a 47-42 victory back in December of 2024. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wranglers.
Sundance better focus on containing Mayce Jarvis and Addie Mason as the pair were huge in Shoshoni's win. Jarvis went 5 of 8 on her way to 16 points and three steals, while Mason went 6 of 8 on her way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan Harris, who put up four points and five rebounds.
Sundance is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points per game. As for Shoshoni, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Sundance has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 27.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Shoshoni struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.1 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Sundance was able to grind out a solid victory over Shoshoni in their previous matchup back in March of 2021, winning 47-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sundance since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
