Baseball Recap: Danvers Falcons vs. Andover Golden Warriors

Danvers extended their losing streak to four on Sunday, dropping their season record down to 8-13 in the process. They lost 14-0 to the Andover Golden Warriors. The Falcons were not able to make up for their loss to the Golden Warriors from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

As for Andover, their win bumped their record up to 14-5. Considering they have won six matches by more than six runs this season, Sunday's blowout was nothing new.

For Andover's part, Drew Pulsifer made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Pulsifer has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Will Norris was incredible, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Ryan Jaillet was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Danvers does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Andover, they will take on Shrewsbury at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
