Volleyball Recap: North Edgecombe Comes Up Short + How To Watch

North Edgecombe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Tarboro Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

While North Edgecombe ultimately came up short, they really made Tarboro work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-13, 25-21.

North Edgecombe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Tarboro, their win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Edgecombe will welcome Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tarboro, they will host North East Carolina Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
