Brazosport won the last time they faced Wharton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Exporters skirted past the Tigers 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Exporters.

Bevin Kelm spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Sanii Player was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Skyler Myers was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs.

The victory got Brazosport back to even at 12-12-1. As for Wharton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Brazosport is set to face off against their familiar foe Needville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wharton will square off against rival Sweeny at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
