Basketball Game Preview: Midwest Central/Delavan Raiders vs. Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes

The Midwest Central/Delavan Raiders will square off against the Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Midwest Central/Delavan saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 45-32 to Brimfield. The loss continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Abingdon/Avon put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 44-35 win over Tremont.

Abingdon/Avon's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Midwest Central/Delavan, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Midwest Central/Delavan couldn't quite get it done against Abingdon/Avon when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as they fell 56-46. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
