Softball Recap: Cashmere Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cashmere can now relate to. They came up short against the Rochester Warriors on Thursday, falling 8-1. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Cashmere's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Rochester, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Cashmere does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rochester, they will square off against Royal at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
