South Christian's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Holland Christian 4-0. Considering South Christian have won ten matchups by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Union has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 20. They and Thornapple Kellogg finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw on Wednesday.

South Christian's victory bumped their record up to 13-3-1. Union's draw gives them a new season record of 9-4-3.
