It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but John Marshall ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They walked away with a 14-9 victory over the Weir Red Riders. The win was just business as usual for the Monarchs, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

John Marshall got a massive performance out of Tommy Clegg, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in five of his six plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Gaiser, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

John Marshall's record now sits at 3-0. As for Weir, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
