Volleyball Recap: Buena Takes a Loss

Buena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Cienega Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-10.

Buena's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Cienega, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Buena will face off against rival Canyon del Oro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cienega is set to square off against their familiar foe Flowing Wells at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
