Volleyball Recap: Central Finds Home Court Redemption Against Grain Valley

There's no place like home for Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They skirted past the Grain Valley Eagles 2-1. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Central had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 19-25, 26-24, 25-16.

Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Grain Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Nixa on the 29th. As for Grain Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Park Hill on the 29th.
