Southern Huntingdon County and Tussey Mountain are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2019, but likely not for long. The Rockets will take on the Titans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Southern Huntingdon County took a 15-run loss the last time they faced off against West Branch, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rockets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Warriors on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Rockets as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Levi Morgan was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Gibbons, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Southern Huntingdon County hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive matches.

Tussey Mountain not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 25th (when they won 19-1). They put the hurt on Forbes Road with a sharp 15-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won four games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Tussey Mountain's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7. As for Southern Huntingdon County, their record now sits at 2-10.

Southern Huntingdon County suffered a grim 19-1 defeat to Tussey Mountain in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Rockets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
