McKinney Christian Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Covenant, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mustangs blew past the Knights 19-8 on Monday. Considering the Mustangs have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

McKinney Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Covenant, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

McKinney Christian Academy will head out to challenge All Saints Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Covenant, they will welcome Harvest Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
