            Softball Recap: Morrison Mustangs vs. Princeton Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Morrison walked away with it. They were the clear victors by  a  9-0 margin over the Princeton Tigers on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 16 games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Bella Duncan was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than 11  strikeouts in 17 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kiyah Wolber, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.  Allie Anderson was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  RBI.

The  win was  the 16th in a row for Morrison, bringing their record up to 21-4. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Princeton, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.
As of now, neither Morrison nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
