Volleyball Recap: Liberty Eagles vs. Westminster Christian Wildcats
Liberty lost against Westminster Christian back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
Westminster Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Vivian Sharlow, who had ten digs and ten assists. That's the most digs Sharlow has posted over her last six matches. Another player making a difference was Rachel Buchanan, who had 12 digs and four assists.
Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Westminster Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4-1 record this season.
