Baseball Game Preview: Lake Oswego Lakers vs. Oregon City Pioneers

For the second straight game, Lake Oswego will face off against Oregon City. The Lakers will host the Pioneers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

While Lake Oswego's win against Oregon City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lakers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Pioneers a 1-0 shutout on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lakers have posted since April 1st.

Lake Oswego saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylan McClaskey, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Oregon City's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Lake Oswego, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12.
