Soccer Recap: Peotone Takes a Loss

Peotone was the 3-0 winner over Joliet Catholic when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Devils took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hilltoppers on Monday. Peotone have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

They hit Joliet Catholic with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Peyton Bisping, Allie Werner, and Alyssa Lattz.

Peotone's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Joliet Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Peotone and Joliet Catholic will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Blue Devils are set to challenge their familiar foe Manteno at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Joliet Catholic will square off against rival Saint Viator at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
