Fort Bend Hightower came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the King Panthers by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Hurricanes: when they faced off against the Panthers last Saturday, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

While Fort Bend Hightower might've won, it sure wasn't easy: King scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 18-25, 25-23, 25-20.

Fort Bend Hightower's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for King, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Bend Hightower will host Iowa Colony at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for King, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Aldine at 5:30 p.m.
