Soccer Recap: St. John Paul II Academy Has No Trouble Against Seminole Ridge

After failing to score in their last matchup, St. John Paul II Academy made sure to put some goals up on the board against Seminole Ridge on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Seminole Ridge Hawks with a sharp 4-0 win. Considering the Eagles' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

They hit Seminole Ridge with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mary Hartofilis (2), Julianna Liguori, and Caroline Hartofilis.

St. John Paul II Academy's victory bumped their record up to 11-1-1. As for Seminole Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3-2.

St. John Paul II Academy (ranked 20th) will meet FAU High (ranked 286th) at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Seminole Ridge will face off against Royal Palm Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Monday up 310 places (143 vs. 453).
