Basketball Recap: Sandy Creek Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Sandy Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They were the clear victor by a 56-35 margin over the Copenhagen Golden Knights on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Comets also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Several Golden Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aydan Sheitz, who posted ten points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jacob Lawlee, who put up six points and six rebounds.

Sandy Creek's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25 points. As for Copenhagen, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Sandy Creek will venture away from home to face off against La Fargeville at 7:30 p.m. on December 18th. As for Copenhagen, they will host Thousand Islands at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
