Auburn gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They walked away with a 12-8 win over the Beamer Titans. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Taya Totten made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits. Totten was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Alivia Sterner was a standout: she scored three runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Katelyn Cartwright, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one double.

Beamer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

As for Beamer, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Federal Way at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
