Softball Game Preview: Lake Worth Trojans vs. Palm Beach Central Broncos

The Lake Worth Trojans will square off against the Palm Beach Central Broncos at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Lake Worth is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game dating back to last season last Wednesday. They came up short against Atlantic, falling 21-5.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Palm Beach Central ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past King's Academy 9-7.

Kacie Riggan spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ava Regoli, who scored two runs while going 2-for-5. Annabella Hamilton was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-5.
