 After a string of four wins, Willamette's good fortune finally ran out  in Saturday's  second game. They fell  8-5 to the Roseburg Indians. Willamette had a rough season last year, but they look ready to turn that poor record around this year.
  Myles Cox was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Andrew Evans, who  went 1-for-1 with a  triple and a  run.
 Willamette's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 9-3. As for Roseburg, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record  this season.
 Willamette will head out on the road to  square off against  South Medford at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Roseburg, they will be playing at home against North Medford at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Roseburg and North Medford are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
