Volleyball Recap: St. Patrick-St. Vincent Comes Up Short

St. Patrick-St. Vincent suffered their biggest defeat since September 8th on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the Saint Mary's Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 8th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-13.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Saint Mary's, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. St. Patrick-St. Vincent is set to challenge their familiar foe Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Saint Mary's will face off against rival Salesian College Preparatory at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
