Basketball Recap: Warren County Wildcats vs. James Wood Colonels
Warren County lost against James Wood back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warren County Wildcats lost 44-24 to the James Wood Colonels. The Wildcats were down 35-15 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Josie Russell was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds for James Wood. Russell's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Harlow, who posted six points and ten boards.
Warren County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for James Wood, they pushed their record up to 12-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Warren County and Manassas Park will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Warren County is facing Manassas Park at the right time seeing as Manassas Park is stuck on a 17-game losing streak.
