Baseball Recap: Morris Triumphs

While Morris's victory against Roland wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over the Rangers on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since April 4, 2024.

Morris' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-16. As for Roland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Looking ahead, Morris will square off against Haskell at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Haymakers have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season. As for Roland, they will take on Beggs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
