Basketball Recap: Elmira Comes Up Short

If Elmira was riding high fresh off their 67-26 takedown of La Pine last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Elmira Falcons took a blow against the Sisters Outlaws on Friday, falling 66-39. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-53 back in January.

Elmira has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Sisters, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, Elmira will square off against Creswell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sisters, they will challenge Pleasant Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
