Basketball Recap: Henning Takes a Loss

Henning was the 64-31 winner over Ashby when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Henning Hornets fell to the Ashby Arrows 58-52. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Henning's loss dropped their record down to 3-22. As for Ashby, their win ended a 20-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-20.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Henning will venture away from home to square off against Parkers Prairie at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Parkers Prairie's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Ashby, they are taking a road trip to take on Brandon/Evansville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
