John Ingle gave up the fewest walks he has since back in May of 2024 on Tuesday. He was unstoppable, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Even though Ingle couldn't lead Cox Mill over Hickory Ridge, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
