Anderson and Carlson are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Anderson Titans are taking a road trip to face off against the Carlson Marauders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anderson is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Anderson ended up a good deal behind Woodhaven and lost 61-43. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 528th, while the Warriors are ranked 209th).

Meanwhile, Carlson strolled past Taylor with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 60-45. The Marauders haven't had any issues with the Griffins recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Anderson better keep an eye on Trent Ison. He was instrumental in Carlson's win, going 8-for-13 to rack up 23 points and six rebounds. Ison is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last five games he's played. Tyler Martin was another key player, putting up 11 points and five boards.

Carlson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Carlson, their record is now 9-10.

Anderson came up short against Carlson in their previous meeting back in January, falling 50-46. Can Anderson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
