Basketball Game Preview: McDowell Titans vs. South Mecklenburg Sabres

The McDowell Titans will face off against the South Mecklenburg Sabres on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as McDowell comes in on 28 and South Mecklenburg on five.

McDowell is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Alexander Central 65-38. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 games by 26 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, South Mecklenburg didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Davie on Friday, but they still walked away with a 64-58 victory.

McDowell pushed their record up to 28-0 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home. As for South Mecklenburg, their victory bumped their record up to 25-4.

McDowell ended up a good deal behind South Mecklenburg in their previous matchup back in February of 2018, losing 57-38. Thankfully for McDowell, Shariah Gaddy (who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
