Volleyball Recap: Grand Island Lutheran Comes Up Short

Grand Island Lutheran suffered their biggest defeat since September 18th on Monday. They came up short against the Kenesaw Blue Devils, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Lightning in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost nine in a row.

Abby Van Bibber paced Grand Island Lutheran's offense, picking up eight kills. Van Bibber got some help from Chloe Keasling and her 18 assists. Aubrey Reynolds and Abigail Uden kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Among those leading the charge was Brooklynn Peshek, who had six digs and three aces.

Grand Island Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Kenesaw, their win bumped their record up to 23-7.

Grand Island Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kenesaw, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Shelton on the 28th.
