Softball Recap: Parkville Takes a Loss

After flying high against Kenwood on Monday, Parkville came back down to earth. Parkville came up short against the Franklin Indians on Tuesday, falling 19-3. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost six in a row.

Parkville now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Franklin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkville will square off against Hereford at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Parkville's pitchers better be ready for this one: Hereford has averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Franklin, they will face off against Dundalk at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
