Johnson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Macy Phillips, who had three aces. That's the most aces Phillips has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophie Haskell, who had seven digs and two aces.
Harlingen's loss dropped their record down to 24-16. As for Johnson, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 40-6.
Harlingen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for the Jaguars, they will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight.
