It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but MMI Preparatory School had no problem doing just that on Monday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over Christian School of York. Winning may never get old, but MMI Preparatory School sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Joshua Witner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, MMI Preparatory School saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adam Frask, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Frask is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

MMI Preparatory School's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Christian School of York, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6-1.

Coming up, MMI Preparatory School will take on Nativity BVM on Thursday. The Green Wave will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something MMI Preparatory School surely won't give up without a fight. Christian School of York does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
