Soccer Recap: St. Genevieve Takes a Loss

St. Genevieve was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the St. Paul Swordsmen, falling 3-0. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Valiants struggled afterwards.

St. Genevieve's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for St. Paul, the victory got them back to even at 7-7-1.

St. Genevieve will welcome Bishop Montgomery at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Bishop Montgomery's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last three games. As for St. Paul, they will head out on the road to take on St. Anthony at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Paul is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
