Volleyball Recap: Newbury Park Wins Going Away Against Paloma Valley

It's playoff time, and Newbury Park had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Paloma Valley Wildcats on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

While Newbury Park won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 25-22.

Newbury Park's victory bumped their record up to 10-17. As for Paloma Valley, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-11.

Looking ahead, Newbury Park will face off against Oak Park at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. Paloma Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
