            Softball Recap: Nazarene Christian Academy Lions vs. Fellowship Academy Mustangs        
        
		
        
        
            Nazarene Christian Academy won the last time they faced Fellowship Academy and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Nazarene Christian Academy Lions blew past the Fellowship Academy Mustangs 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won three games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Gracyn Whitsell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   five  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with four  RBI, one  triple,  and one  double. Those  four  hits gave  her a new career-high.

 In other batting news,  Savannah Spangler was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing  Three bases. while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kirsten Parker, who  scored two  runs and  stole  Two bases. while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Nazarene Christian Academy  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in four consecutive  contests.
Nazarene Christian Academy has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record  this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Fellowship Academy and  nudges their season record down to 2-2.
 Nazarene Christian Academy will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Weatherford Christian at 2:30  p.m.  on March 25th. Nazarene Christian Academy is facing Weatherford Christian at the right time seeing as Weatherford Christian is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. Fellowship Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
