Basketball Game Preview: Beacon Bulldogs vs. Liberty Indians

The Beacon Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Liberty Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Beacon is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.

On Saturday, Beacon beat Marlboro Central 51-39.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Liberty, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They managed a 36-30 victory over Monticello on Friday.

Beacon pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Liberty, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.

Everything came up roses for Beacon against Liberty in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 65-16 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Beacon since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
