Volleyball Recap: Elk Point-Jefferson Comes Up Short

Elk Point-Jefferson came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers. If the Huskies were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Chargers when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-12, 25-14.

Elk Point-Jefferson has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Sioux Falls Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Elk Point-Jefferson is set to face off against their familiar foe Beresford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sioux Falls Christian will challenge rival Dakota Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
