Baseball Recap: Laton Comes Up Short

Laton couldn't beat San Luis Obispo Classical Academy on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Mustangs lost 15-5 to the Grizzlies. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly ten runs.

Laton has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14-1 record this season. As for San Luis Obispo Classical Academy, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9-1.

Looking ahead, Laton will square off against Alpaugh at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs are facing the Buffalos at the right time seeing as the Buffalos are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for San Luis Obispo Classical Academy, they will take on Shandon at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Outlaws have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.29 runs per game on average), something the Grizzlies will no doubt try to take advantage of.
