Despite the loss, Lapeer Lakers Homeschool saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aiden Lomasney went 10-for-21 to rack up 27 points. Grant Scally was another key player, putting up six points and six rebounds.

Lapeer Lakers Homeschool has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 20-8 record this season. As for West Michigan HomeSchool, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.

Lapeer Lakers Homeschool has already played their next game, a 52-50 win against FAITH HomeSchool on the 15th. West Michigan HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
