Soccer Game Preview: Riverside vs. Tunkhannock

The Riverside Vikings will face off against the Tunkhannock Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Riverside sitting on three straight victories and Tunkhannock on six.

On Thursday, Riverside had just enough and edged out Hanover Area 2-1.

John Chilleri was the driving force of the Vikings' attack as he scored both of the Vikings' goals, bringing his season total up to 24 goals.

Meanwhile, Tunkhannock kept a clean sheet against Mid Valley on Thursday. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0. Given Tunkhannock's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while Mid Valley are ranked 328th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Riverside's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Tunkhannock, their victory bumped their record up to 16-3.
