Cobden won the last time they faced Shawnee and things went their way on Friday too. The Cobden Appleknockers secured a 46-42 W over the Shawnee Redskins. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Appleknockers.

Shawnee's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brody Maeser, who posted 11 points. Those 11 points gave Maeser a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Conner Wilson, who put up nine points.

Cobden has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Shawnee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-15.

Cobden didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-54 defeat against Elverado on the 25th. As for Shawnee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 68-51 loss against Agape Christian on the 25th.
