Football Recap: Joshua Jacobson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Katy Taylor over Morton Ranch + How To Watch

Katy Taylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 24-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morton Ranch Mavericks. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mavericks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Katy Taylor lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Joshua Jacobson, who picked up 75 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Katy Taylor's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Morton Ranch, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
