Basketball Recap: Calverton Comes Up Short

Calverton lost against Southern Maryland Christian Academy back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Calverton fell 31-21 to the Southern Maryland Christian Academy Mustangs.

Calverton's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Southern Maryland Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Calverton is taking a road trip to square off against Takoma Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southern Maryland Christian Academy, they and Evergreen Christian will face off at 7:20 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Evergreen Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Southern Maryland Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
